Hi everyone! Here is some simple reporting on what went down during last weekend's Beauty in Diversity Workshop (17 August 2019). The exclusive event was headlined by one of dUCk Cosmetics’ professional make-up artist Natasya Ramleh, stylist and influencer Min Luna, GetCraft’s Head of Creative Development, Zuan Arifin Ham and Mis Claire’s very own Creative Director, Angel Tang. Each sharing their unique skill set to a private group of thirty aspiring plus size influencers.

Shopee office is soooo awesome! Wow!

The Mis Claire team went to set up at Shopee Building (you may visit their website at shopee.com.my or by clicking here) as they have kindly sponsored the venue to run this one-day workshop. Thank you Shopee! It is a very nice venue with awesome office space to work and lounge.

Mis Claire has kindly provided a goodie bag for all the participants to go home with - on top of all the complimentary clothes to the lucky makeover participants, and a dUCk clutch worth RM380 to the lucky photo-editing winner.

Everyone had a wonderful spread of breakfast, lunch and tea from Hydeout (click here to view their Instagram @hydeoutmk) which is by celebrity chef Imelda Harris (@imeldaharris on Instagram) and Amir Gani. They provided a huge variety of food - will post more of it at Mis Claire's Instagram (@plussize_misclaire)

Natasya Ramleh and her beautiful crew came to show the participants how to put on their best face. dUCk cosmetics sponsored an almost complete kit to all the participants and we have to say - the products are amazinggggg and pigmented! After a hearty lunch of nasi goreng, mushroom soup with garlic bread and a wide array of healthy fruits, we were blessed with the presence of Min Luna - a petite and spicy burst of energy with a confident sense of style. She gave 3 lucky participants a makeover (and they get to keep their new clothes courtesy of Mis Claire) and shared her many tips on the basic ways of dressing for diversity. Next, we come to the more serious half of the workshop and everyone was listening so very intently. A very insightful and helpful session by Get Craft's Zuan Arifin helped to guide the participants on how to make it on social media. Last but not least, the final session was led by Mis Claire's Art Director Angel Tang - who shared on how a photo can make or break your social media presence. She has been shooting for Mis Claire for the last two years and her photos have elevated the brand in leaps and bounds. There was a practical session whereby all the participants were required to get an insta-worthy shot in the venue, and the best one won a dUCk clutch worth RM380 courtesy of Mis Claire! So jealous! Congrats sis!

The event ended later than expected a little after 7pm but it was a happy and energetic note! Mis Claire will like to extend a hearty THANK YOU to everyone who made this event a success!
