1. Infuse some flavour in your water
If you hate the non-taste of water, spice things up by subtly flavouring your water. I like using lemon and some low calorie sweetener (or a tiny amount of sugar) and make a big pitcher that I store and drink at convenience. You can get more creative with fruit-infused water too by using juicy fruits like berries, apples, watermelons and so many more. Also, experiment with teas - those are also forms of infused water!
2. Soups and rice porridge.
Do like Asians and include a healthy clear soup with every meal. Porridge is always a good alternative to steamed rice as it contains a lot more water and less calories.
3. Place a water bottle on your work desk.
Hit your goal by drinking all that water by the end of each work day. Extra points if that water bottle is cute, and bonus score if it has a motivating message on it.
4. Eat more spicy foods.
This is a trick - it will make your drink more water to counter the spicy-ness.
5. Make a habit of ordering a glass of water when eating out.
Not only it is good for your body - but it saves you money too. However if you choose to order any other drinks, just get an extra glass of water which can be consumed in intervals, or used to dilute your drinks. Whatever it is you choose, it ensures you get more water than you normally do.
